The Internet has spawned a number of handy search engines that can look up a specific phrase on the Internet. Try keying in the name of the person you're looking for with these and see what comes up.

Yahoo! Search Engine Web Directory This section of Yahoo lists directories for search engines worldwide. If your fellow alumnus is in another country, you may want to check if that country has a search engine specific to it. Yahoo! Tips on Searching the Web And this section offers links to various tips and tools for refining your information search. Worth looking at if you really want to dig deep to find your fellow alumnus.

ClassMates The best resource on the web for finding high school alumni.	Yahoo! People Search Yahoo has a search engine that lets you look up people's E-mail addresses and telephone numbers, as well as links to their Yellow Pages, White Pages and other resources.	Bigfoot Bigfoot lets you search by last name, first name through city- and state-specific listings.
The World E-mail Directory A notable site with access to over 18,000,000 E-mail addresses.	WhoWhere?! Provided by Lycos, this service lets you search by first and/or last name.	WhitePages.com This search engine not only helps you find a person, it can provide maps and locate zip codes.
Where Did They Move To? An experiment by Semaphore Corporation, this tracks people who have changed their address.	Switchboard A free service that connects businesses, people and information.	Lost Friends A people locator that takes a reverse approach to searching. Try them out.
Excite! People Finder A search engine provided by Excite! that lets you browse AT&T's White Pages.	SearchingForPeople.Com A free web-based information service and directory for locating people.	Rocket Scientists E-Mail Reserve A directory of Aerospace workers' personal e-mail addresses.
