After graduating from UC Berkeley, I tried law school, didn't like it so I started working as a consultant in San Francisco to keep me in paints and brushes--my passion--fine art!!! Oh yeah, I also got married last year. Now, I am sharing a wonderful life with my husband in a work/live space!
Living in New York with my husband and new baby girl, Ella Katherine, who was born in November 2005. I work in the Operations Department of a prominent New York restaurant group and leave all the cooking to my husband who is a chef.

I am teaching math to grades 6, 7 and 8 at a great Catholic school in Chicago. My husband and I make music for fun and I'm pretty good at playing guitar! What are you up to?
I graduated from Berkeley, moved down to Manhattan Beach for a few years, then returned to the Bay Area to attend law school at Hastings in San Francisco. Graduated last May and now am an attorney practicing environmental and bad faith litigation in the Bay Area. Got married last summer in Pacific Palisades to a fellow Cal grad. I would love to hear from any Bay Area SAMO alums. See you in November!
After graduation I moved to Washington to attend Washington State University. I decided to pursue a BA in Economics because I figured that all Economists must be as good looking as Mr. Richards at SAMO. I finished my undergraduate years with BAs in Economics and Political Science and then decided to stay and get a Masters in Business Administration as well. I am now back in the LA area working for a small private consulting firm. I have kept in touch with many of my friends from SAMO. Congrats to everyone on their apparent success since high school.

Interesting, interesting… and by the way, “…Tough to tell, ain’t it?” “Ain’t it?” “Isn’t it. Now will you stop all this foolishness we’re going to miss the plane.” “That’s the whole idea.” “Mitch! Do something!” “Susan, go-“ “Yes Daddy?” “Yes Daddy?” “That’s not funny!” That’s not funny!” “That’s not funny!” “Oh, well this one is Susan the smart-Alec here.” “Are you sure?” “Of course I’m sure I know my own daughter don’t I?” “You’re not really sure are you Daddy?” “You know, I’m not...” ~Hope all is well.
After college on the east coast and some traveling, I moved into Hare Krishna centers to study and practice meditation and eastern spirituality. Was a happy, freeing experience in many ways. Spent some time in India too. Currently practice Krishna Consciousness from home in West LA, work with children and volunteer with the homeless.
married. 2 kids. working full time. loving life!
I was with the Class of '94. Since then I have enlisted into the United States Marine Corps for the last five years.
Adult life is great! June of '04 my husband Jared and I will have been married for five years. We recently settled into our first home in upstate New York, and although I miss the West Coast and look forward to future visits, we feel at home here. Our little boy is growing up quickly. Matthew is a very busy and active three year old. My husband is a hard working chemical engineer who makes it possible for me to be a full-time stay-at-home mom. I love my full time job of raising and teaching our little boy! To those who have tried to contact me over the last few years and haven't heard back from me, I apologize...we've been moving around quite a bit. Now that we are settled and staying put, I have been better at keeping up on my correspondence. My best to all! I look forward to a class reunion soon!
I'm late to do things as usual but if anyone happens to check this anymore try to get ahold of me. I live in LA and fix/maintain art, mostly sculptures for local cities or private individuals but sometimes murals and paintings also. If any of my old buddies are super successful and you need their collections assessed (I'll look for free of course), let me know. jc
I graduated from UC Davis in 1998 with a BS in Managerial Economics, then moved to San Francisco where I shared an apartment with Michelle Stutsman (also c/o '94). After 3 years in San Francisco and working in retail brokerage, I decided to move to New York City both for a new adventure and to further my career in finance. I met my fiance, JD, at the first company I was working for in New York and now we are planning our wedding for next summer! Fellow SAMO alumni Amy Patterson ('94), Michelle Stutsman ('94), Marie Rocha ('94), Michelle Baird ('94) and Christine TeSelle Crafton ('93) will be attending. I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone at the reunion and introducing JD to more SAMO friends!

Hey there! I took my sweet time but finally graduated from CSULB in 2001. (BA, English/Spanish) After graduating I went to Germany for three months and went surfing & camping in the south of France. (HOSSEGOR!!) For the past three years I've been working as a substitute teacher in the Compton Unified School District, an experience I could write a book about! I've also been writing and recording songs. Pretty soon (May 13, 04) I leave for Australia! I got a work visa, so I'll be working, living and surfing around Sydney for a year. So I'll probably be out of the country, but email me & say Hi! Cheers, mate!
Okay since my last update I've gotten married to my beautiful wife Heather. We still live in Chandler, AZ, and work at Mesa Police. I'm now a supervisor in the Crime Scene Unit and she's a Latent Print Examiner. We like to joke that if you see me you're having a bad day, if you see her you're having a really bad day. She gets all the "fun" calls like homicides and officer involved shootings. I work just about everything else. If you're really curious you can probably catch some of our exploits at www.eastvalleytribune.com. We still have the two cats and have added a miniature golden retriever dog like thing. If anybody else is out here in the AZ area feel free to drop me a line.
I graduated from UCLA with a BA in Music Education and Voice. I have been teaching elementary music for the past five years and singing as a soloist and cantor for a number of local churches. This year I will celebrate my five-year wedding anniversary.

After graduating from UCSC in 1998 I spent 4 years living in Oakland and then moved to Kauai for a year. Five months ago I moved back down to Santa Monica and I'm currently getting a Masters in Social Work at USC. My husband (We got married June 2003 while we were living on Kauai)is at UCLA working on a PhD in Computer Science. I'm very excited to see you all at our reunion.
I work as a driver in the movie industry and I am getting married in April, and am in the process of buying my first house.

I graduated from Woodbury University in 1999 and earned a Bachelors degree in Fashion Design. Then I decided to get a teaching credential so I could earn some money and have time to travel. So I am currently teaching first grade in Sun Valley.
Back living by the beach, continuing my career as a stage manager on Good Day LA and FOX 11 News. Drop me a line!

It's so nice to hear what's going on in everyone's lives! I can't believe it's been almost ten years since we've graduated from SAMOHI. In 1998, I graduated from UCLA with a political science degree with an emphasis in international relations. During college and law school I studied at the Sorbonne in Paris, interned at the White House, and worked for the Democratic National Convention Committee in Los Angeles. In May 2002, I graduated from Loyola Law School and in March 2003, I married Ernesto Morales. For the last year I've been a Staff Attorney at the Cancer Legal Resource Center of the Western Law Center for Disability Rights in downtown LA. I hope to hear from some of you, so we can catch up!
Dear classmates, It's been great to read this site and get updated on what each of you are doing--thank you for posting! I'm currently working as an elementary school teacher at Think College Now, where I've worked for the past five years after teaching in East Palo Alto as a Teach For America corps member. After a lot of work, I recently became a Nationally Board Certified Teacher and I'm pretty relieved to be done with that process--it was really hard! My husband, Jonathan and I are expecting a baby girl this October and we just bought a house in Oakland. I hope you're all doing well. I've been blown away by the multitude of experiences reported on the blurbs. Wishing you all happiness and health. With best wishes, Amanda (Feld) Klein
Big shouts to all the Randy Macks, Naked Lotus Klan, Plow Posture, and passengers of the Crazy Train!!! Went to SDSU after graduation with a group of about 10 SAMOHI Alumni, and by the end of the first year, I was the one of the few who stayed. There, I learned more about life than Psychology, my intended major. I joined Nu Alpha Kappa, a latino-based fraternity, tons of fun needless to say. I fell in love, with Emily and vinyl/turntables/electronic music. I started DJing and doing live sound, and am now in the audio/video/lighting field, and I love it. I am now living and loving in the LBC, hope you all made it okay, and never forget your roots.
After six years in New England, I got cold and decided to come back to Southern California. I'm working in the athletic department at UCLA, and keep running into Samohi people all over the place.
Hi there! Very nice to read how everyone is doing. I'm back in LA, going to UCLA's School of Public Health for an MPH. I am doing well, living life to the fullest and running into high school folks all the time. I will be graduating in spring 2003, then who knows.... anyways, see yall in a couple years..
Whoa! Just discovered this site by accident. Samo seems like such a long time ago. In between, I graduated from Northwestern in 98 with a degree in history and political science. Worked in Chicago for a while, then moved to London for grad school at the London School of Economics. Been living in London for several years now, working in media finance. But I'm getting bored, so I'm moving to China for a while. Hope to catch up with y'all at the ten year reunion!

Let's see... after SAMOHI I traveled far and wide to attend UCLA where I earned a B.A. in Psychology and minored in Business Administration. Since then I have been employed with UCLA at the Anderson Graduate School of Management... I figured they should pay me back some of the money I spent on my education :-) I'm hoping to apply to graduate school this year... hey I may actually venture a little further this time... maybe New York? Then again, there's no place like California!

After SAMO I went to U of O for my BA. Then went back to Cali for my MBA from Cal State LA. After 4.5 years of studying business, I realized I DIDN'T like it at all. Took an advice from one of the best SAMO's teachers :) and became a teacher myself. I have been teaching for 3 years for LAUSD. Got married last year and became an instant mom for a little boy. Have a home based business to make use of those degrees and to make mom happy :P

Now working nights as a legal secretary, and days marketing internet, telecoms, and other technology products and services. Surfing the web, Learning assembly language, writing... hi!

Hi there! Greetings from Malaysia. Yes, after 10 years in the States, I decided to move back to Malaysia in 2001. I am currently working for a private college in Malaysia (for those of you who think you might know me, I went by the name JONG and played double bass for SAMO. Ring a bell?). Well, 10 years in the States was amazing and my time at SAMO is definitely way up there. After SAMO, I got both my bachelor and masters degrees from CSUN. However, no regrets from moving back to Malaysia especially since I am happily married. Do hope to run into some of you soon... late!
After Samo I moved to Boston and got spent four years at Tufts, then I came back to LA and got a masters in Spiritual Psychology and this January (2004) my first book comes out in stores, The Breakup Repair Kit: How to Get Over Your Broken Heart, you can even go check it out on Amazon.com. I would love to hear from any of you and I am surprised to say that I am actually looking forward to our 10 year (!) reunion.

It always does...:) Still not married and no kids...theres plenty of time for that..26 is not old yet! :)
All I can say is wow! This just makes me want to go and get my yearbook out. Hello everyone! It is good to hear how active everyone has been since graduation. Like most, I to have jumped around a bit. After graduation I went to SF State and after two years switched majors and transferred to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. There I majored in Horticulture and recieved a BS with an emphasis in California Native Plants and Public Gardening. During that time I also met my husband. Carlos and I got married in Berkeley in November of 2002 and have been living in the East Bay ever since. (We recently purchased a home YAY!) I am a horticulturist at the Regional Park Botanic Garden in Tilden Park in the Berkeley Hills. It is a 10 acre garden consisting solely of California Native Plants. I maintain three sections in the garden as well as collect plants from various areas in California. I can honestly say I have my dream job. I have noticed that a lot of alumni live in the Bay Area. Please stop by the garden sometime for a visit. For those involved in education, we have wonderful tours at the garden for children. It sounds like everyone is enjoying life to the fullest and I hope you continue to do so. Until next time......
In a fit of patriotism I quit defending insurance companies (yes, I too became a lawyer) and joined the Army.

Wow, I can't believe it took me this long to find this site! I can't believe what everyone is up to, and I remember almost everyone who's posted. Well, I graduated from Brown University in 1998, moved back to L.A., and am now living in the Hollywood Hills pursuing a life in the entertainment industry. The bulk of my work is performing as a professional magician — yes, I actually continued to work on that. I've also started acting recently, and have been writing a lot, not only for myself, but for other performers and organizations (including Disney). You can find out most of the grisly details on my website. Drop me a note sometime and let me know how you're doing, and maybe I'll see you at some reunion.
Hi all, I graduated from USC in 1997 with a BS in Finance. I went to work for Mayor Richard Riordan as an Economic Development and Policy Analyst in January 1998. In September 2000, I decided to return to graduate school. In the past four years, I completed a Master's Degree at the London School of Economics (I actually overlapped with Kian Gohar) and I completed law school at Yale (Julia Kernochan is in my YLS class). Now it is 2004, and I am about to graduate from Law School, and honestly I still haven't figured out my true goals in life. But at least I know that I made up for all of the classes I ditched at Samohi during our high school years :) I hope you all are doing well and I look forward to our next class reunion in November.
Best wishes, Dan

Much has happened since SAMO days in my life. As many know I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Disease (cancer of the lymphnodes) just before heading off the UCSB in 1994. I went through eight long months of chemotherapy but was determined to get well and get started with college. I planned on returning to UCSB in Sept. 95' but with my luck, I found out the cancer had come back and that I would have to go through yet another round of treatment. This time however, it involved much more chemo, total body radiation and a autologous bone-marrow transplant. After four months of treatment and recovery I finally began UCSB in Spring 96'. About 2 months later, I was devastated to find out that the treatments had damaged my heart to the point of no repair. Due to these battles with my health, I decided to transfer to Mt. St. Mary's College to pursue my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing and Medical Sociology. I just recently graduated Cum Laude this past May 02'. During my last 2 mont! hs at the Mount, I was shocked to be told by doctors that I needed to be listed for a heart transplant at UCLA. I was listed in July 02', and just 4 weeks ago, on Dec. 30, 02', receieved my new heart. I am doing extremely well and have always maintained a positive attitiude. We can beat anything!!! It also helps to have recently married Mr. Jordan Brian Keville- former samohi grad 94'. We reacquainted ourselves on the beach in Santa Monica 4 years ago as he was to begin law school and me, nursing school. We are very happy and I will forever love him for all that he puts up with. In my life I hope to continue to be an inspiration for those who must endure what I have. I hope this note finds everyone well! Sinecerely, Karin Mauss
Hi. I have a newer website now.
Hi, everyone. It's great to hear that so many of you are doing well. Well, after high school I atteneded CSULB and earned a BA in Liberal Studies. I'm currently teaching elementary school in Orange County. I'm in the process of getting my Masters Degree in Education. I'm not married and have no children. I wish I could have seen you all at the reunion, but I was out of town for the holiday. Hope to hear from you. Dawn
Hi everyone! Wow, I can't believe it's reunion time already! It seems just like yesterday that we were all just hanging out on the Quad... I'm happy to see that everyone's doing great. As for me, after Samo I went to CSUN (Cal State Northridge), became a Pi (sorority sister of Alpha Omicron Pi) and was a principal member of the Speech & Debate Team. I graduated with a BA degree in Communication Studies. I entertained the idea of law school. I attended it for one year and then decided it wasn't for me. Soon after, I pursued my true dream of working in Public Relations. After being at Edelman PR I now work as an Account Executive at Tellem Worldwide. Some of the accounts we handle are Nickelodeon, Clear Channel Communications, Inc, Children Affected by AIDS Foundation, Warner Bros., Rodeo Drive Plastic Surgery and we are currently representing the DA in the Michael Jackson case. It's been very busy here at work. I still live in beautiful Los Angeles. I am not married yet...but! I do have a wonderful boyfriend that I've been with for four years now. Hope to see you all at Class of 94’ reunion!
Hi all. I'm in Grad School @ UCSD. Studying International Relations. Hope to see you at the reunion but I may be somewhere else, in which case, I'll think of you from wherever that may be. I have 1 or 2 more quarters left at school as I see it now. 2 jobs. 1 housemate. No pets. There. You have the basics. I hope you're well and happy. I'm sure our amazing group of 94 grads will have interesting stories to tell when we do see eachother. Go blue! or was it glue?!? no.. it was blue. makes more sense :)
After attending CSUN for 4 years I received 3 bachelors in Computer Science, Finance, and Business. I recently graduated with my MBA from USC and I'm Vice President of Information Technology at a large company in Los Angeles. I got married about 3 years ago and have a 4 month old son
Strange boy, madrigal, football, track, and, oh yeah, wrestling
For the past five years I was living in the palm springs area and going to school out there. In May ('03) I graduated from nursing school with my RN. In august I moved back to good old Santa Monica and I am currently working in UCLA's operating room as a surgical nurse.

I am now living in Venice working as a Camera Assistant and Camera Operator on Commercials and Documentaries and recently finished working on my first Feature Film... Still living with the Elf!
Hi there! It's so great to hear about everyones adventures. Mine began after graduating from Cal Poly with a BS degree in Nutrional Science. I then decided to take some time off to play. I moved to Lake Tahoe, then Hawaii, and traveled through Europe. Last year I landed back in So Cal in sunny Santa Barbara. I'm back on track and back in school. I'm getting a masters degree in Oriental Medicine, studying to become an Acupuncturist. Hope everyone is happy and doing well. Best wishes to all.
I graduated from Berkeley, moved back to Santa Monica to spend two years learning interactive design and 3D animation, then moved back to the Bay Area in 2000. I'm currently living in San Mateo, after spending the last four years in San Francisco. I work for a slicon valley technology company as a designer/art director... fun, but not nearly as kick-back as Mr. Westmoreland's art classes. I was married in the Berkeley hills a little over a year ago, and we just bought our first home - making the transition from city life to the suburbs. Still in disbelief it's been 10 years...!
It is great to see what everyone is up to! Since I last wrote, Dave and I had a little one - Jack, who is now almost two. I also finished my residency in OB/GYN in June and started an Infertility Fellowship here at the University of Utah. We really enjoy Salt Lake City and take advantage of the great skiing and hiking. Come visit!
Finally I finished my studies and became Engineer in computer Science. Since then I'm working in a software developer company, designing and developing control systems and other kinds of applications. Love to hear from anyone I met at Samohi during my year in the California.
I'm just too cool! Likin' the 49ers! CS major who loves to play games. Also, I like to play basketball. Have a great girlfriend and love her lots! Have my own HOMEPAGE at http://redrocks.cs.pacificu.edu/~phanouvs

Jeff and I will celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary in September. Who Hoo! Life is grand.
Since I last wrote we are back living in Las Vegas again. My husband and I will be happily married for 6 years this April. We have 2 beautiful daughters ages 5 and 2. We are just living and loving life. Who knows where we will end up next!

I've been living in NYC 10 years now. No kids or spouses that I know of. Confession: I have one dream a year in which a totally random smattering of y'all somehow find your way into. Love to all. See you in NOV.
Wow, 10 years is a long time to forget names and faces. I think I can only recall 2 or 3 so far. After college out east I joined the Marine Corps as a 2nd Lieutenant. So while classmates like Ryan Hurst were playing warfighter, I was living it. (like your work by the way Ryan) Stationed in Chicago until I resign, get sent off to the next war, or whatever.
So fun to hear what everyone's up to. What a trip. I jumped around a bit since SAMO -- Colorado College, UC Santa Cruz, travelling through Central America....to here. I'm living in Oakland now, and have been for the last 3 years. I work as a union organizer for low-wage industrial workers. I'm not married and have no kids. Surprised to see how many of you are in the Bay Area. Would love to hear from you. Or see you at the reunion...is it really almost 10 years?!?!?!
Working in the IT field. Hope everyone is doing well.
Still living in Santa Monica raising my girls. Not sure if many of you knew me I hung out w/ my girls in the SAPID nursery. Graduated from SMC in 1999 w/2 A.A.'s Administration of Justice & Liberal Arts, went on to CSULB graduated w/ B.S. in Criminal Justice. Working for the greatest local PD as a non-sworn officer. Still thinking about the sworn position. Married my high school sweetheart and best supporter Santos in 2002-finally!!! My girls are big all in Middle School and High School. Let me know if you all remember me!!

It was great seeing so many friendly faces at the reunion! My wife Drew and I are currently living near Annapolis, Maryland. We are expecting our first baby (our second if you count the dog) in February. I am working on a Masters degree, after which I will be mentoring and advising midshipmen at the Naval Academy.
Much love to my SAMO peeps... so glad to hear everyone's doing well! I always thought there was something special about c/o 94, and judging from everyones comments... damn we kicked butt! After graduation I started at a sofware company as a network intern, and 6 years later im a Network Engineer for Dole (ya, the pineapples). I still live in SM, and still love to go out and party! I also organize outdoor parties and I'd love to see some of yall out sometime. Drop me a line if youre still around SM... or not. Id love to hear from you.

Hey everyone! Wow I can't believe how many of you are on this site! I also can't believe how many people are married already. I am still single and living in Santa Monica. I am about to begin a job at either UCLA Medical Center or St. John's hospital in administration. Hope you are well. E-mail me!
Hey, what's up everyone?! It's been over a year since the reunion and I somehow started to miss all of you. I can't wait until the next reunion comes around - it was nice to visit old friends and old places. I am probably the person living the farthest away from all of you, being here in Poland, cold as hell (we had now about 10 days of -20 degrees Centigrade). Best of luck to all of you
It's really a blessing to hear about some of the wonderful and brilliant things that people are doing. I feel proud to have known many of you. I graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in Community Health and now work for the charity foundations of Barbra Streisand, Steven Spielberg and Donna Karan. I'm getting married in July 2005 to a wonderful minister from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and will be moving there to have loads of children and see what else life has to offer. I hope to make it to the reunion and to see all of you again before I leave. If not, may God continue to bless each of you, as I see He has done thus far. Take Care!

After samohi, headed north to attend UCDavis where I studied Environmental Toxicology...what a waste of time cause I'm currently flying all over the U.S., Canada, and Mexico for Continental Express. The view is much better from 37000 feet vs. a terrestial job! Might be moving back down to LA or San Diego soon- hopefully!
I'm glad I stumbled on to this site. It is great to see a few names that bring back memories. I graduated from UCLA in '99 with a BA in Political Science. Vowing never to work in politics or law I became a photojournalist working for Associated Press which became tiresome after a short time and now I work for myself as a commercial photographer. I would love to hear from anyone that wants to say hi. Eight years goes by quickly, doesn't it?

Since high school, I have dedicated myself to Jesus and George W. Bush. Just
kidding. I'm like a lawyer now.
Hello everyone! Cannot believe it has almost been 10 years! Since then I married my high school sweetheart,Michael Fairbanks(who graduated Samo in 1991). We now have two children, Ava (3 years old) and Trevor (6 months). We recently bought a house in Culver City and we are still enjoying living on the westside. I currently work at UCLA as a surgical coordinator for a plastic surgeon and I have two classes to complete at Cal. State Northridge before I receive my BS in Health Administration. Being a mommy and hanging out with my family is what I enjoy most. Good to hear from everyone and see you next year-----Rebecca
Wow! It really does feel like a blast from the past to see all these names from Samo! After getting my B.A. in psychology from UCLA (and discovering that it was useless unless I became a psychologist or psychiatrist, which I was not interested in doing), I went back to UCLA to earn an M.A. in Spanish Languages & Literatures (much more practical!) and am currently working on my Ph.D. in the same (also at UCLA). Teaching has been fun, so I guess it was the right decision! Mark Carrillo (also UCLA psych grad) and I were married last year, and we're working hard at creating a loving home for our two parakeets, who nevertheless blame us for all of their emotional hang-ups.

WOW... I just wandered into this site - I'm happy to see a few good friends!! After changing my major a couple of times at University of North Texas, I've got a year left before completing a Bachelor's in French. I'll be off in France over the next year. Figured that was the best place to do my studying. I look forward to seeing you all at our first reunion!
Since finishing grad school, I've played principal trumpet with the Singapore Symphony, and now live in Boston, where I freelance as a soloist and with about a million orchestras in Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, New York, and Rhode Island (I put a lot of miles on my car). In October, 2000, I married Amy Banzhaf, and in lieu of hyphenating two god-awful names, we made up a new one, combined them, both changed our last names to Banzaert, and have lived happily ever after.
Hi everyone! Wow, I can't believe how long ago the SAMO years were. Who are some of these people anyhow? I don't remember having so many classmates....hahaha. Anyhow, I've since graduated from UCLA with a BA in English and I'm starting grad school next year to earn an MS in Counseling. I am currently working at Orange Coast College and enjoying life.
I am in NYC, part of the problem (i.e. a lawyer), and loving every second of it. Will be married by June unless she comes to her senses before then. Hope you're all enjoying your respective rides; mine's been a blast.

I finally graduated from SDSU with a BA in Journalism. After 9 months of looking for a job I finally landed a something wonderful. Editor in Chief of Revolt in Style Magazine in beautiful San Diego, CA. Now I'm loving life, the ocean breeze, and all the goodie. Where my RFK boys at?
I've been living in San Diego since I graduated from UCSD in 1998. I worked for a sports internet company in Carlsband and then a wireless company after that. I was a dot-casualty, but I hooked up with a wireless technology company in Sorrento Valley called Mforma, www.mforma.com, in May of this year. Evan and I spent five weeks this summer traveling through Europe, what a great experience! Still, nothing beats Cali. Peace.
I've been blessed. I went to UOP (with Kim Hawkins) where I studied, lived the Greek life, and played division I football. I got to play at huge games like Nebraska and recieved academic honors in psychology. Upon graduation, I moved to Newport Beach, married my wife Cara, got my masters and Ph.D. in clinical psychology, and now I specialize in working with adolescents. I currently have 2 practices, work as a school psychologist, get paid to speak at high schools and have a few books in the works. I hope life is awsome for all of you.
I accidently found this site and enjoyed reading up on everyone. After several years living in several different places, attending law school, and travelling about, I have settled down for the time being here in Los Angeles with my sweetheart Emily and am working at a local law firm. Feel free to send me an email if you remember me.
Hello Old Friends, Yes, we are organizing a reunion for our class of 1994. The event will be 6:00pm-12:00am, Saturday, November 27th (Thanksgiving weekend), 2004, at the Doubletree Hotel (the one touching the SAMOHI campus). We are still very early in the planning process and I am working with a professional company called "The Reunion Committee" to plan the event. Since they are handling all the registrations I suggest you contact them (reuion@reunioncommittee.com,661-259-5999). Please start spreading the word to everyone you are still in contact with, and I will add the name of anyone who emails me to the planning committee email list. Honestly, I do not know what to expect, I hope a lot of people will attend (I will be flying in from New York just for the event). I hope this will be a really meaningful evening. I want it to be a relaxed event with an open bar and a microphone where people can walk up and share their memories and feelings as they feel the urge. In that way I want people to f! eel they are in a safe and caring environment where anyone who is interested can go on stage and share any (personal or not)stories from the last ten years of their lives. I hope it will be sort of like one big AA meeting, but with drinks. Hope to see you there. Sincerely, Sarton Weinraub
I had no idea this web site existed! After Samo was UCSC, then back to Santa Monica and marriage. My wife and I now live in Philadelphia where I'm a Chef!
Hey everyone, just thought I would drop a line. I have been married for 3.5 years, to a wonderful man. I just completed my Masters in Social Work and live in Arizona. Life is great!!!
After graduation I began chillin like a villin wich was fun but enlightning, ultimately thinking I need to do somthing, so I joined the air force and did a little traveling. After wich i realized It was a mistake and I freed myself of oppression with rebelion :), and began chillin like a villin once again :), and listening to my insight I have been ever since. After realizing how much of a trap most situations are (job, marriage, credit etc)I began trying to start my own business, with no traps in my way and true success within reach.
Still living in Portland Oregon with my husband Matt and son Gavin, expecting child #2 next spring:) How I pay the bills...(well sort-of if you know anything about public education), I am a 6th grade language arts and social studies teacher. Hope this finds everyone well.
Playing in an upwardly mobile NYC rock band called The What, with Lucas, Jonas, and a non-allum drummer named Jamie. We're coming for you suckas.

After graduating from UCLA I went straight to USC for law school (I'll always be a Bruin at heart). I graduated 2001, passed the Bar and have been pretending to be a lawyer while paying off my student loans ever since. I can't believe it's already been 10 years.
Living in Brooklyn, going to school. Will be back on the West Coast someday... (as of 07.07.07)
Hey Guys!! It's so weird to hear about what everyone's been up to. SAMO feels like it was lifetimes ago. Anyways, I graduated from UCLA with a bachelor in Neuroscience in 99, and I'm currently attending USC (Go Bruins!!!) Pharmacy School. I would love to hear from my old homies so write me and let me how you guys are doing. And if anyone
writes me asking for Viagra or Vicodin...THE ANSWER IS A BIG FAT NO!
Bye!!
