Greetings all, Hope life is good for you alum/friends....I can't believe it's already been over a year since the 20th but so nice to see so many of you again...I felt like we hadn't changed much (?)..must be the SM water...:) I am currently working in LA for Guess as the Head of Young Contemporary Womens Design for their newest Collection, "G" by Guess. They have high hopes for the expansion of this division and we hope to grow to over 500 retail stores. I am still passionate and challenged by this intriguing industry and love to travel globally meeting new people and observing unique cultures. Still, no place like home though. While I still reside in the OC (it's paradise..) the commute sometimes makes it a bit hard so again, there may be a time soon when I throw in the towel and come "home"..we'll see. For now, I just try to enjoy life and get something positive out of each day. Can't wait til the 25th and Cheers to all! Kristin
I wouldn't even know where to begin. If anyone out there remembers me and wants to say "Hi," drop me a line. You can email me anytime at cball1968@yahoo.com. -CBall
Married five years, with two boys (Tommy, 3 years, and Michael, 3 months) and one dog. Dropped out of Berkeley for nearly a decade before dropping back in, graduating, going to law school and becoming a lawyer. So far, quite satisfied with my decision to give in to the Dark Side.

Recently relocated to Charleston, SC. I'm in the MBA program at The Citadel and my boyfriend is a resident at the Medical University of SC. We live on the water and surf as much as we can! Want to eventually open up my own hotel/restaurant somewhere in the tropics. By the way the South is quite a change from Santa Monica!
Post-Samohi I went to Reed College in Portland, OR, along with Danny Gamelin, Sally Ganga, Mark Redhead. After bopping around a bit, including rooming in LA with Larry Weintraub, I met my wife, Jennifer, while she and I were working a brew pub back in Portland. We spent a decade in the SF Bay Area, and 2 years in Las Vegas, and now we're back in Portland. I'm working in graphic design and advertising. We just had a baby boy in March. Family is still in Santa Monica, so I get down there a couple times a year, at which time Jennifer always reminds me how privileged I was to grow up in a beach town. Funny, I never thought of it that way at the time.
Got a Ph.D in physics, got a wife, got a little 6-year-old dude, got a job as a software development director, that's it in a nutshell!
I'm still a local boy. Where has everybody gone???
Calabasas CA
I am still in So. Cal - living in Calabasas at the moment. I graduated from USC w/ degree in psychology and am finally working on grad school applications... It's never too late, right? Currently I'm working as a project manager at my brother-in-law's construction company based in Santa Monica. I would love to hear from fellow '86 alumni... Does anyone know how to reach Rahdi Taylor or Joanna Rem? Blessings to all!!

Great time seeing everyone at the reunion - already ages ago. You all impressed me with your accomplishments and how little everyone has changed. Looking forward to the 25th. I'm happily married almost 10 years to Patrick and we have two awesome kiddos, PJ (5), and Charlotte (3.5). I love living outside Seattle - especially the seasons - but I try to visit So Cal every few months for an infusion of style and sun and to catch up with Samantha Williams Hayes who continues to be my closest friend since 3rd grade. Since the reunion I've opened my own business - what an incredible ride - and I am so happy to be my own boss and not on an airplane twice a week. Quality of life has increased significantly.
Spent 10+ years in New York and Washington, D.C. Became a lawyer, married for 5 years, and have two beautiful daughters who keep me on my toes (Olivia, 2 years, Julia, 4 months)! Just recently moved back to L.A. - missed the beach. Looking forward to seeing old friends at the reunion.
Graduated from Berkeley, moved to NY, became a lawyer, married with two beautiful girls (Olivia 2.5 years, Julia 8 months), moved back to L.A. briefly, then got the hell out and moved back home to Boulder, Colorado - great place to raise kids. Life is good. Looking forward to the next 20!
I would love to get in touch with anyone that I've met during my three years at Samo. I missed the 10th year reunion and feel upset about it. Javier (Pollo) or any of the guys that know me, write or email me.

I'm in LA. Enjoyed the reunion. Can't believe it's been so long since high school. I'm married with 2 children and a SAHM. My youngest is almost 3 (March 08) and I am plotting my return to the corporate/business arena.
Santa Barbara, CA 93103
Loving life on the Central Coast. Teaching video production, running the UCSB Film Archives, playing guitar, and studying martial arts. Would love to hear from anyone up this way.
Loving the good life in Santa Barbara with my wife Susan. Still studying martial arts, looking forward to opening a studio, and occassionally dusting off the guitar strings to jam. Work at the University keeps me busy and entertained. Drop me a line if you're swinging through town...

I had SO much fun last night, y'all! Everyone looks GREAT and it was so good hearing about all of our lives, kids and adventures. I didn't get contact info on hardly anyone but I hope everyone will post their info here.
Well, after 10 years of marriage, Charles and I finally decided to join the ranks of parenthood. Our son, Calvin Arthur Sakoda Harding, was born on March 31, 2006. He weighed 9 pounds 4 ounces. I'm getting used to being a mom and spending a few months at home with Calvin before heading back to work part-time in August. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the 20 (!) year reunion in July.
I'm living in Tallahassee with my wife of 10 years and our four beautiful children. I practice as an emergency and pediatric emergency physician.

(Note: I only refer to myself in the third person now and have added a pretentious silent B to my name) Jimb is the author of three "self-help" bestsellers and conducts both motivational and de-motivational seminars across America®. He is currently working on his fourth book, which outlines strategies for height management. A movie deal for the first book, "I'm Okay...You're Not (In Fact, You're Down Right Awful)" is currently in the works. Jimb has been married to his wife Robin for 19 years. They have two sons, 23-year-old Jay and 16-year-old Jordan. In his spare time (and these days there's plenty) Jimb also creates scatalogical animated cartoons on the internet. Do yourself a favor and check 'em out by clicking the appropriate link...no seriously, you'd be doing YOURSELF a favor, and don't forget, "it's all about you."
Living large in the Sierra Fotthill's, life is good!
My husband Paul and my children (Vaughn, born in November 2002 and Gwen, born in October 2005) are living in Bellevue, Washington. I am working as World Languages Producer for Apex Learning, a company providing online learning opportunities for high school students. It's really a perfect job for me and I love it!
Hello from Austin, Texas. After finishing law school I moved to Austin Texas to practice criminal defense law and to enjoy the live music scene. Happy, healthy, hope ya'all are too.
Enjoying life to the fullest...hope everyone else is, too! Won't be able to make the reunion...best wishes to all for a fantastic time!!!
After Many years on the East Coast & a bunch more back in LA, I've recently fulfilled a long-time dream of moving to San Francisco. I'm loving life in the city & am always happy to hear from old friends.
Never left LA, my car broke down. Finally moved out of my parents house, they sold it. Got a job at FOX...ABC, CBS, NBC, UPN and WB wouldn't hire me. Got a hair cut. Still have a crush on K. Simpson and T. Leblanc.
Still in Houston ... why? I have no idea! Finishing my PhD, doing some writing, having the life sucked out of me by southern women (and loving it!) and counting the days when I can leave this God-forsaken place!
IRAQ
Have a great reunion! I will not be able to attend due to a prior obligation/deployment to OIF II. Peace and happiness to you all:)
I'm sorry if I ever hurt you. Evolution has come slowly for me. I survived a high speed car wreck in '89 which sobered me up. Earned a BA at SDSU in 1992. Happiness is a journey. I am an MRI tech in the Seattle area. I moved here in '98 and found the woman of my dreams. We married in 2000 and have 2 beautiful daughters. The pic is us in the Space Needle. May all of your tomorrows shine.
I am looking forward to seeing people at the reunion in July. I hope everyone is well. Drop me an email or/and check out my in-progress inspirationwear. Take care!
Living nearby in Santa Barbara with wife Janet and 2 3/4 kids (Hannah, Enzo and Rock). Finally have a real job 20 years after finishing high school (woohoo).
I now live in Marin County just outside of San Francisco. I am married with two children, Lucy who is 4 and Griffin who is two. I worked back in the New York/New Jersey area for 5 years before I came back to CA. We have been in the City and Marin for the past 8 years and are loving it. Wow, can't believe it has almost been 20 years. I look forward to the reunion! Oh, if anyone knows where Sarah Goldman and Susie Dudley are I would love to contact them.
My husband Robert, my two children (Emily and Jack) and I just moved back to San Francisco after living in Chicago for eight years. I am curretly working part-time at UCSF as a Pediatric Nurse Practiitoner in diabetes. We are enjoying the beautiful weather, our family, and getting in touch with old frinds.
Life is short. Live like you mean it and have a tale to tell your death bed! xoGreta
Currently living in Coppell, Texas (near Dallas). Married with three kids ages 12,10 & 6. Still playing soccer!
After Samo, I was at Caltech for 5 years, then Baltimore for
7 (PhD at Johns Hopkins). Just moved to Durham, as my husband
is a new professor at Duke. I'm commuting to DC to work at the
National Research Council.

Life is still blissful here in Santa Monica Canyon with my husband, CJ, my 4 year old daughter, Liliana and my 6 year old son, Captain. I stopped teaching so that I could volunteer at both my kids' schools. I still see many of my high school friends and it's nice. I still enjoy singing and I do it now on Sundays in my church choir (which consists of 3 people.) Our family sports seem to be karate and skiing/snowboarding. Karate turned out to be a great way for me to exercise and our kids can now ski on the same runs we board on so it's really fun. Thankfully, CJ is extremely busy building homes in the Palisades and enjoying many aspects of it. We're coming up on 9 years of marriage and it's gone by pretty fast.

Finished my Doctorate in Music Education form ASU in 2006. I am working in the Scottsdale (AZ) Schools in Research and Planning. Married for 12 years with two boys William (6) and Bryce (3). I was recently named the Director of the Scottsdale Concert Band. I guess we are all turning 40 this year. Great to be alive!!

Been living in Arizona for 12 years now (and yes, I love the heat of summer). Have two children Tara Jade (5 1/2 years) and Kyle (4 years) who keep me busy and entertained constantly. Doing the stay at home mom thing until they are in school full time and then who knows? Right now we are enjoying lots of play time and traveling - San Diego, San Francisco, Puerto Penasco, Mx etc... My husband Joel travels a lot so we get to go hang out with him whenever we can. Thanks to all who have kept me updated with what is going on with you and any changes of address etc... Yes, we are going to do another reunion soon (maybe a 25th), but this time on our own (no cheesy company), so anyone interested in joining the committee, we are going to need a lot of help to make it mellow, fun and inexpensive.
I live in the SF Bay Area with my husband Julian, and work as the Curator of Education and Public Programs for a museum in Berkeley. We spend much of our free time tending to our old victorian home, or heading to our place in the country near Ukiah for a little r+r.
Software engineer. Aikidoka.
Graduated from UCLA (BA and MA) and living in the South Bay with my husband and two children. Its hard to believe how quickly time flies. It doesn't seem like 20 years since high school. Life has been good and I'm enjoying the ride. Health and happiness to all.
See my wife's post (Coleen RAICHEL Keyser '86)
I actually graduated from Olympic. I doubt that Olympic has a website, but I will check. I have't really seen anyone from high school since I got the hell out. I lived in the bay area for a while and moved back down in 95 to work in the visual effects industry. I am engaged. no kids.

Lived in Venice, Malibu and S.M. after college. Only to experience the riots, the fires, and the earthquake, three strikes your out! Living in the Berkshires with a wonderful husband of almost 6yrs. and a daughter, Elizabeth Lee, almost 3!! Own my house and acreage, started a business just this May, involved in church which is crazy but true, and my brother Miles lives a mile down the road two doors down from my in-laws!!! Is life wacky or what? Also, can't believe 20yrs have flown by, yikes! Very cool to find this site and see updates of folks I once knew. My year books burned in the Malibu fires of '94 so this was the next best thing.
To sum it all up... I spent several years in Santa Barbara and Malibu living life and enjoying the end of my teens and very early 20's. Went back to school at UCLA, studied Anthropology and Classics, and now I am currently working on my doctorate in Classical Archaeology and teaching at CSULB. I have spent the last decade living in Santa Monica (again!), studying, traveling, and spending time with my husband, Shaley, and our new son, Nicholas. What a long, strange trip it's been... I hope this note finds you all happy and healthy. All the best, Jess

I recently ran my first half-marathon while we were vacationing in Hawaii and I'm now hooked! I also try to ski and travel as much as possible. Counting down to our 20th reunion... Hope to see many classmates there!

Hello Fellow Alumns, Hope this finds all well and that the fruits that have fallen from the tree have not spolied. If any have the urge, please e-mail as I would enjoy hearing from my 'ole chums. God Speed!
Married and moved to Manhattan...Beach. I have, unfortunately, developed a strange disease that is causing me to gain weight and is simultaneously raising my hairline...the doctors offer no good advice. 8/27/06 - Missed the reunion. Not much to add there. Heard it was a good time. I would've showed up but I was too afraid I'd get drunk and hit on Chadd Nyergies. And I can't take the rejection.
Hello fellow alums, Looking forward to seeing you guys at the 20th reunion. Since high school, I graduated from CSUN with a BA in art, worked the usual odd jobs, won a poker tournament, met my wife in 1997, got married in 2003, had a beautiful baby daughter in 2005 and work in the graphic design field. For fun and recreation, I surf and go to Bruce Springsteen concerts all over the country.
Still living in OC with my husband and 3 kids. My oldest son started high school this year. Yikes! I'm working for Verizon Wireless and going to school. Yes, I'm kinda busy! Can't wait to see everyone!

Living in New York City (Manhattan) is a blast. We're on our fourth year and must admit we are ready to return to sunny LA. My hubby Don and I just had a darling little girl, Cassidy Grace, on 03-03-03. Love her birthdate. Working in market research but am on permanent maternity leave for the time being. Santa Monica has really made its mark on the map. Just the other day I saw a 'shi shi' Madison Avenue kiddie store selling high-end baby wear from Santa Monica! Glad to have experienced SM before it became famous.
I can't really remember high school anymore. Except German class. Right now I'm directing commercials in Europe. I live in Santa Monica and Berlin, Germany. life is ok.

After attending SMC for a small eternity and working as a SCUBA Instructor I finaly graduated from CSUDH. Had a brief career in politics, which included managing a legislative race in the Burbank area. Left that profession when my candidate suffered one of the most humiliating defeats in the history of democracy. Hey...never said I was good at what I didSince 1996 I've worked as a producer/screenwriter. My wife and I still live in Santa Monica and have one child.
I've been living in the San Francisco area for 18 years, currently in Marin County. I have 2 wonderful kids, 8 and 11. I'm looking forward to our reunion!

My husband (William "Bill" Keyser-also an '86 grad) celebrated our 13th Wedding Anniversary in Oct. 2002. We have had 5 children (our middle one passed at 2 months old shortly after our 10th Reunion), the 4 living are Derek Michael (10), Grace Ann (8), Aaron Gabriel (4) and our baby, Faith Lynn (3). I am extremely involved in my kids Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts and just went back to work in Nov. for Boy Scouts after being only an at home mommy for almost all of the last 10+ years. We lived in Florida for one year when Bill was in the Navy, but he got sick and they medically discharged him. We then moved to Pennsylvania, where the first 2 of our kids were born, to live with and near Bill's relatives. In 1995 we moved back to California, I got a job for a short time, got pregnant with #3, and that was the end of that. We've been here ever since. Our kids are now in SMMUSD and could graduate Samohi some day if we don't go back to Pennsylvania before that. I would love to g! et e-mail from our old classmates.
This was a great year, we had our second child! I have a two year old daughter and a new son.
Hello to all I don't even know where to begin. I just wanted to say drop me a line and say hello. Take care and God bless Mario Rivera

Been married 17 years. Love living in Claremont, CA. 19 years teaching Tae Kwon Do in Pomona, CA. Completed 10 L.A Marathons. Still selling life & health insurance since 1991. YES!, that's me on KNX 1070 & KFI 640 Radio, "The Reverse Mortgage Question of the Day with Jamie Smith." Love to hear from anyone I grew up with.
Let's see...5 years at Cal Poly SLO while touring with the Grateful dead as often as possible, two more at USC for a grad degree in Safety and Systems Management. Married my girlfriend from college, Norma and moved to the Bay Area in 1997. Finally jumped into the working world as a Health and Safety professional trying to keep OSHA off of big companies backs. Settled in the SF bay area town of Walnut Creek in 2001, working for Citigroup. Job shifted to Security and I'm now Northwest Regional Director of Security. OK, you can stop laughing now, it's true! The fun part of the job is helping the FBI catch bank robbers by distilling digital images from the robberies for them. No kids, just two spastic yellow labs, Karma & Aiko. Got hooked on Triathlon in 2003 and haven't looked back. My first Ironman was in 2006, going back again in 2007 and beyond. XC skiing at Tahoe often and race my mountain bike at every opportunity I get. It was great to run into so many folks at the 20 yea! r reunion.

Director, actor, Viking!
Hello there. Though I've been out of high school for what seems like a million years, I still get to see some of my high school pals. And that makes me so happy. Hmm, I'm not sure which is my best friend. Could it be Kevin Bostwick? Tehya Kopp? It used to be Robert Moser but he moved very very far away and made me very sad. Brett Franklin is a cool guy. I've known him longer than anyone else not related to me. I like Anne Slattery too (She just changed her name back to that after I had just started getting used to calling her Anne Germaine). Oh yea, and Diana Chao. I love Diana. She's my pal. And Sally Ganga, I miss Sally Ganga. I don't know if she likes me anymore. I might have been a jerk to her over the years. But please don't hold that against me, I do love her very much. We only hurt the ones we love. And the Fatemi twins, Farnaz and Tara are great too. Then there is Janelle Mettler and Danny Gamelin. I don't get to see them very often and that makes ! me a sad panda. And Erika Ray. Dear Erika. She moved to the state of Oregon and I can't go there any more since those warrants were issued when I went up to visit Kevin, Danny, Sally, and my old pal Mark Redhead. And whatever happened to Roger Singh? This is fun, and I could go on for days. But alas. I just wanted to say hello. So, hello.
I currently reside in San Jose, CA and I am single but looking for that special someone. Other than my work (Borders Bookstore Supervisor/Office MGR for 6 years and loving it), I also enjoy going to movies, sports (Giants (I know, I'm a traitor :) ) & Sharks), leisurely reading, dancing, partying whenever I get a chance, and traveling whenever I can (usually sports related). I live with my 2 roommates in San Jose, CA., one male and the other female (my cat). I'm going to find a way to get down to SAMOHI for our 20 year reunion in 2006. I never made it to the others. It would be great! if someone could send me info regarding reunions! It would be a great vacation!
