Toledo, OH 43617
Married with two children living in the wild mid west. Today I work as the national sales manager for La-Z-Boy. It was great to find the Samohi web site.
Married 21 years. Five kids, three adopted. Author of the novel, "Rocket City."
I have been married for 15 years; no children just dogs. I have a Master's Degree in English and am a blue collar worker. Am still looking for Gary White.
Hi there! Well, I’m married, have a step-son out of college and a son still in college. Went to UCSB, started in medical device industry in 1975, eventually became President and CEO (who would have thought that? - not me!) of BioEnterics Corp, which developed and got FDA approval for the LAP-BAND System, a uniquely adjustable device for the treatment of severe obesity that has so far helped 150,000 people lose and keep off their weight more safely than with a gastric bypass, with use increasing at 50%/year to $150 million/year sales. If you know someone who might be helped by this product, I’ll be happy to correspond. I'm not working right now but will start again soon. Some of you might remember my mom, Phyllis Barrowcliff, who substituted at John Adams a lot. She and my dad are still going strong. We've been blessed. I’m thankful for the many dedicated teachers and staff at Will Rogers, John Adams and Samohi and for the many people I grew up with who were kind to th! is awkward bookworm. Hope you all have a wonderful 2006 and more!
After SAMOHI I got a Psych degree from UCSB, then spent a couple of years as a Head Resident in the dorms there. Moved to Oregon, got a Masters in Library Sci and spent some years working as a librarian -- even got to spend a year driving a bookmobile around the boonies! A lucky job offer brought me to the SF bay area (Menlo Park), where I joined the group that was running the Arpanet. In the late 80's I married, moved to Brooklyn, and went to work for Prodigy, where I had fun designing and managing the email system. My wife became a federal prosecutor (and even today continues to work as an attorney for the Justice Dept.) In the mid-90's Prodigy lost direction and I was laid off. Fortunately, I got an offer from a little company called America Online. We (with a new baby at that point) moved to the DC suburbs. I became a product manager, responsible for (at various times) AOL's email, message boards, Mac software, web browser and other fun bits. If you've ever used AOL email, you've used my mailbox design. Unfortunately, AOL got big, got confused, and got to be much less fun. I was laid off in 2001. Since then I've been an at-home dad, although since our daughter is now 13, it looks like time for me to get back to work in the outside world (hopefully with some interesting startup).

I am currently a physician in practice and member of the board of directors for Permanente (Kaiser Permanente). I have not been in touch with anyone from the class of 1969 but did attend the last reunion. Stumbled on this page while researching a book I'm working on.
I'm living in San Mateo with my wife of 25 years and daughter of 11 years. After SAMOHI I went on to a PhD in Physiology and Biophysics, lived in San Jose, Seattle, Miami, and Dallas and ended up back in the Bay area. I'm a VP at a medical research instrumentation company in lovely Union City, CA (East Bay). My parent's house on Alta Ave. burned down a year and a half ago but is being rebuilt just as it was. Fortunately my dad kept up on the insurance payments. My brother Berk ('67) still teaches at SAMO.

Great to see so many classmates have found this site. Can't believe this summer will be 35 years. We still look GREAT! Living and teaching in UTAH where the snow is the best. Our kids are moving on and it won't belong before we're "empty nesters". I would love to hear from fellow Vikings.

I am a self-employed artist and art model, and have been writing fiction as well recently. I also played jazz saxophone for a number of years. Currently living in Venice, California. I have changed only slightly -- more compassionate and kind now I hope! I was very moved by the 20th reunion. There are many classmates I still would love to see who have vanished for the last three decades.
After Samohi I made my way up to The University of Nevada at Reno where I graduated in Geology. After a brief return to Santa Monica, I moved back to Nevada and have been here ever since working for one of the largest gold mining companies in North America. My wife Elizabeth and I have two boys, Matthew and Ryan, both now attending at my my old campus in Reno. Carrying on the tradition.
We live below a beautiful mountain range in the country in the middle of nowhere. It has been a great place to raise the boys. The horses are now gone,(to much work for one guy after the boys became older and more interested in motorcycles and girls) but we still do as much fishing, boating and snowmobiling as we can right here. I have a small piece of property in McCall Idaho that I hope to build on and eventually retire to someday. I get down to Santa Monica on a rare occasion as my mom still lives there. The town I remember has really changed. I really do miss the beach and the ocean. So many great memories !!!!
Hello to all of you out there. Take care, Brett

Cookeville, TN 38501
I've been married to Sam, also a returned Peace Corps volunteer in Thailand
since 1980. Our son John (18) is a freshman in pre-med at Davidson College in
NC, Sam's alma mater. Our daughter Heather (16) is a high school junior, is
driving, and dreams of attending Stanford to study biology and drama.
Since 1997, I've been teaching K-7 Spanish at a Lutheran school here in Cookeville
TN, on the Cumberland Plateau near I-40 between Nashville and Knoxville. They
pay me to play, sing, read to, and do plays with kids in Spanish! My B.A. in
English, German, and elementary education is from United States International
University in San Diego; my master's in curriculum studies is from the University
of Oxford in England.
I worked in the VW factory in Wolfsburg, Germany part of a summer in college
and then youth hosteled around Europe a month. 1973-1975 I trained English teachers
in Thailand under Peace Corps. Traveled to Laos twice, Malaysia, Nepal, and
studied batik in Jogjakarta, Indonesia for a month after finishing Peace Corps.
Then I spent a year in D.C. under an AID grant at Cooperative Resources Committee
helping national level cooperatives and credit unions to cooperate. Oriented
co-op teams who traveled to Thailand and to Egypt. I met Sam. We lived in Guadalajara,
Mexico a year while he started med school. I taught ESL and studied Spanish.
He transferred to Tulane Med School in New Orleans, and I coordinated and taught
ESL at Tulane for 7 years. Then we moved to Birmingham AL for his fellowship
in Surgical Pathology; I taught developmental writing and English 101 at UAB
= University of Alabama at Birmingham. Sam is now the lab director and one of
four pathologists at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. They cover 12 hospitals
in middle TN and Kentucky.
For fun, I play renaissance, early American, Irish, and Appalachian music in
the Cookeville Camerata recorder group. We have 6 gigs for Christmas so far!
We've recorded a CD which needs sound engineering and balancing still. We do
weddings and school festivals, too. I sing in our Presbyterian church choir
and volunteer as director of the children's choir at church! I still sew, crossstitch,
and read lots of Taino, Aztec, Mayan, Inca, and other Latino legends! I'm studying
Irish Gaelic for Sam's Mayo Pathology conference in Dublin in May 2003. Then
we'll bicycle for 9 days in southern Ireland. We were in Rome for his last conference
in May 2002 and bicycled over 150 miles in the killer hills of Tuscany from
Pisa to Pienza where Zefferli filmed Romeo and Juliet! The shades of green were
awesome!
At Christmas and birthdays, Lana ROSS Conrad, '69, in Fountain Valley CA, Joanie
SCOTT, '69 married in Maine, and Carol Hillyard married, with a daughter in
Vancouver, BC, CANADA, from Brownies at Franklin Elementary still write. We
visit my Peace Corps training roommate and family in Walnut CA most summers.
It feels like the fountain of youth to take our kids to Disneyland, Knott's
Berry Farm! I love riding the waves on their boogey board! But it is even nicer
to return to our TN town of 25,000 where it's a 10-minute commute to school,
and where we wave at friends we pass in cars! We go from anonimity and traffic
jams to refreshing small-town caring!
Do you remember listening to Beethoven and writing thought papers about the
movie Romeo and Juliet for extra credit in Mr. Johnston's class? Or marching
in parades and in football halftimes as a Sergeanette with taps on our white
boots with tassels and doing routines with spears in gold Viking helmets and
sparkling gold vests? What's your favorite Samohi memory? Would love a reply!
Warmly, Diane 11/20/01

Upon graduation from SAMOHI, I went on to UCLA, received BA in Economics and Poli Sci, continuing on to grad school and received an MBA. After college, I joined Xerox Computer Services, meeting my wife Carol, and after 9 years went to a British Petroleum start-up company in satellite technology in San Jose as Vice President and General Manager. Left there to start up two high tech companies, Precision Standard Time (PSTI) and StarSight Telecast, both based on techology I invented and patented...I now have 31 patents. PSTI went under but out of the ashes I invented and patented interactive TV guides...you probably have one of my patented products in your home if you have a cable box, satellite dish, or TIVO with an interactive program guide in it. I took StarSight public in 1996 on NASDAQ, merging it with GEMSTAR, owners of TV Guide magazine, in 1998 and retired from being the CEO/founder of a public corporation. Along the way, my wife Carol and I had 5 children, 4 boys and a girl. Two of our sons are in college, one graduating with a BS in Business December 03, our oldest married with two daughters. Our youngest son became an Eagle Scout in 2003 at the age of 13. Our daughter is a junior in high school, the school LaCrosse goalie and working on her "gold" Girl Scout rank. I have been a Scoutmaster and on the Board of Directors of San Francisco Boy Scout Council for 10 years. Carol and I operate our own charitable trust funds supporting a variety of charitable activities in the Bay Area related to youth development, learning challenged students, and special education. When our kids are free from school or work, we travel in our 45 foot Prevost bus/motorhome, (towing our Chevy Suburban behind it), and our oldest son's motorhome, around the United States, or we travel overseas. With 10 of us, we are our own tour group. Sure had fun at prior reunions and it was terrific seeing the old gang. Haven't heard from many alum since we have been living in the Bay Area for 20 years.
Santa Monica, CA 90405
I attended UCLA and still live in Santa Monica. Margaret (78) and I were married at my brothers’ lake Tahoe home in the summer of 99’. We purchased and have been fixing up an old California Bungalow that was built in 1915. It has been a lot of fun but also a lot of work! There is a light at the end of the tunnel as most of the “major” projects are finished. We have four children between us and so far all have graduated from SAMO (time will tell if the last one will make it). Diana (97) attended UCLA and graduated last year, she is thinking of going back to grad school after being in the work force for a year; Michelle (99) is a senior at UCI and about to spend four months in Japan; Samantha (03) will graduate in June and most likely attend SMC next year. Kirk is eleven and in fifth grade, he is a great little golfer I am working for the Beverly Hills School District as a resource specialist grades K-8. It is very rewarding working with children who have special needs! . I am back in school finishing up my masters in special education.
I graduated from USC in 1969; spent 8 years in advertising, then found my way to Hughes Aircraft (which ultimately became Raytheon) in 1981. I married Evelyn Berglund (Samohi '70) in 1973 and we had two daughters - Carolyn (Samohi '74) and Catherine (Samohi '76). We divorced in 1992. In 2000, I married Linda Sutherland, an elementary school teacher (and USC grad '72). Linda has a neat son, Mike, who was born in 1986. In April of 2001, we moved with Linda's mother to a house in Hermosa Beach. I still work at Raytheon. Linda has been with L.A.Unified since 1972. Carolyn is doing Sports Information for the UCLA Baseball Team after getting her B.S. from Trinity College (Conn.), and M.S. from U.Mass/Amherst. Catherine is teaching 2nd grade for L.A.Unified after getting her B.S. and Teaching Credential from Mount Holyoke College. Mike is a sophomore at Mira Costa H.S. and is the Stage Manager for the Performing Arts Department. He hopes to go to U.S.C. and pursue a career behind the camera. We enjoy living near the beach and I still play softball once a week with Mike Bell (Samo '70).

Currently living in Taiwan. Teaching English as a second language to Taiwanese university students. Married with one adopted daughter and possibly a second one on the way. Would love to hear from old friends.
Subject: Re: Living in Taiwan
My name is Marilyn Lord (Manno) and I am a graduate of the Class
of 1969. I believe that I am the only Samohi alum that is currently
living in Taiwan. Needless to say, I'm feeling slightly insecure
at the moment. I'm here with my husband and two-year old daughter.
He and I are on the faculty of a Chinese university (he teaches
music and I teach English). We don't know what the future will
bring but we have no plans to evacuate at the moment. We get CNN
and an English newspaper so we can keep abreast of the current
"missile crisis". It's a bit unnerving, to say the least.
Would anyone like to send us a few encouraging words?

mountritter@snet.net
After SAMOHI, I attended Pierce College and a few other schools, while living in the Thousand Oaks area. I got stressed out by the LA rat race, so in ‘73 moved to Aspen CO for less than a year, finding it too expensive. In ‘74 moved to Mammoth Lakes where I worked construction and as a ski patrolman; those years, I consider as my second childhood, as it was such a wonderful time, in such a beautiful environment. Moved to Connecticut in ‘79 where I still live. I’ve been a software developer most of these years, working for a many companies, developing embedded and “Win-doze” products. For about 10 of those years, I also have held part time jobs as an engineer for a freight railroad, a conductor for a tourist steam railroad, and as the Zamboni driver for a large rink complex. I got laid off by General Electric in late 2001, due to “corporate greed”, at a time when the company turned 2 of its best quarters in history; they had to lay off 40,000 of us to “cut costs.” (Our jobs are now being done in Bangalor India, so that former employees like Jack Walsh can enjoy fat bennies!) So this was the death of my “hi-tech” career, since there are few jobs available now, and I’m fed up getting laid off every few years. So I made a career change and have been working full time for the railroad since Jan ‘03. So now my “cubicle” is the cab of locomotive running huge freight trains (80-135 cars, 50! 00-10,000 tons) between West Springfield, MA and New Haven, CT. In winter it can be rough, but the view “out the window” can’t be beat, and you don’t get “fluorescent light burns”! On the personal side, I’ve been married for 24 years to a girl who grew up here so I enjoy a large extended family. I have a daughter (23) who just graduated with honors from Northeastern University in Boston. (Much better student than I was!) I have a son (19) who is taking some college, but not really sure what he wants to do. He is an art prodigy, and also enjoys playing ice hockey. Interestingly a sister of my wife and her boyfriend just moved from Connecticut and have settled in Brentwood, just a handful of blocks from where I grew up in Santa Monica. My wife and I are getting tired of the bone chilling northeastern winters and the cost of living in Connecticut. We have given thought to of moving to Rhode Island, but it can be a little expensive too. I’m hoping for a job with Union Pacific Railroad in Portola CA, which should be similar to what life was like in Mammoth Lakes, but with less snow. The only reunion I made it to was the 10th, which was now so long ago. Of my old SAMOHI buddies, Rich Stones is the only ‘69 grad that I keep in regular touch with. Drop a hello. It is always nice to hear from other SAMOHI grads. I’m going to try to make the 40’th reunion.
After graduation I moved to numerous places; Washington DC, Maryland, Tennessee, North Carolina, Colorado and now I'm back home in California. I work for IBM, have a 12 year old son and love living in Laguna Beach. Would love to hear from all the old classmates.
Currently working at the San Jose Mercury News as a travel writer. My mom still lives in Santa Monica, so I visit frequently. Married, a son in college at UCSB, 3 dogs, 1 cat.

Happily retired from Boeing in Huntington Beach, CA. Now living in Arlington, TX, with my Husband Rev. Keith Olivier. Life is good with Christ in the center of my life.
Happily single, once again, with a wonderful 22 year old daughter, Veronica, who is married to a fantastic Marine who is at this time overseas protecting our country. Praying for his safe and speedy return so I can finally become a grandma. Living comfortably in Oceanside, CA........working for Von's Market. Not a glamourous life, but, it's mine and I love it!!! Would love to hear from anyone who would like to reminisce....I've done it with a few of you and it was a blast!!
Since 1973, upon marrying my husband of 30 years, Bruce, I've lived in Shell Beach, CA (5 mi. no. of Pismo Beach, on the Central Coast). We stayed here after Bruce graduated in Ornamental Horticulture from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and for more than 25 years, operated several successful garden centers in the County. We raised two terrific kids--Anna, 22, a recent graduate from Cal Poly, and aspiring actress now living in Brentwood, and Daniel, 19, a UCLA pre-med student. They keep us laughing at ourselves, and I do think they now believe "how cool" we really are. I currently work at Cal Poly as an administrative analyst and hate it--not the work--just the world of academia. Although old enough to retire, I'm not ready to! Although we live in a beautiful, safe community and area, I long to be back among in old stomping grounds--Santa Monica, Brentwood, Pac Palisades, etc.--and hope to have a second home down there in the near future. Married my lovely wife Delores 2000, gaining two stepsons and three granddaughtes. Moved to Simi Valley in Nov. of 2006. I am retired and living a wonderful life! Would love to hear from anyone so inclined!

Didn't graduate from Samohi, but had great friends there, and went to Lincoln
for 7th, 8th, and 9th. For most of the time I went to Samohi, I was the guy
who fired the cannon to signal the flag salute in the morning. Moved to Newport
Beach in 1968. LARRY PIESCO Larry was my best friend when I lived in Santa Monica.
I just happend to find this while surfing the net. Larry was an L.A. cop, and
was killed riding his motorcycle 6/16/2002. http://www.ciajfk.com/larry.html
Still loving living in Napa. Working for 22 years for a national financial planning firm. Have been running the Pacific Region for the company since '97. Lately I'm feeling a lot like summer. Playing the guitar a fair amount and spending some time on a motorcycle again. Napa is definitely on the destination list, so when you come, if you want to say hi, I'd love it. Just give some warning because I travel a lot mostly throughout Calif and Oregon. Get to Kansas City (company's home office) pretty often, too. So give an email if you want to say hi sometime.

I've been married for 29 years this August. My husband, two
children and I have lived in Orange County for 20 years and have
recently built a house in Lake Havasu City, AZ. Please e-mail
me, I'd love to hear from class friends.
I have two kids currently going to Samohi. I enjoyed the Parents Open House in Sept. 2000 at Samohi and walking the hallways again with my kids by my side.
I graduated from Calif State Long Beach and have pursued a career in Law Enforcement. I moved from Santa Monica to Ladera Heights so I'm still in town on a regular basis.
I'm a photojournalist for a Vintage Car magazine which allows me to enjoy my passion of racing cars and watching the races from up close. I'm the President of the Los Angeles Shelby American Automobile Club that is based in Santa Monica.
I arrived back from Europe to find that I had missed the reunion. I knew it had to be coming up, but somehow missed the notice. But it led to lunch with an old friend from the 6th grade, John Harris, and a long phone call with another friend, Lorie Clark Calloway. (Then I saw Judy Bloom by chance at Home Depot - it was my Samohi week.)
My thanks to Steve Libuser who did give me a call to remind me about the reunion. But I was already gone.
I am still in the area, living in Venice. For the last last 12 years I have been self-employed as a political consultant, lobbyist and media relations consultant. My company is Delphi Associates. My most recent clients were actor Ted Danson's American Oceans Campaign and the Writers Guild of America (Hollywood screenwriters). For AOC I helped pilot four environmental/ocean clean-up bills through the State Legislature. For the Writers, I have led the fight against L.A. City's new home business tax.
Back in 1991, when Slovenia, my paternal grandparents' birthplace, declared independence, I was active in leading efforts to gain recognition by this country. As they say, no good deed goes unpunished and my "reward" was to be appointed the Honorary Consul General of Slovenia for California. It is actually great fun being a member of L.A. diplomatic corps.
I am still single, though now seriously involved with a French woman who has two small children (three and five).
My email address is delphiassociates@mediaone.net.
Known as "Bat" at Lincoln Jr. Hi., (how embarrassing!) I only spent a little time at Samo, mostly in early '67 and late '68, I think. Graduated from Garfield, actually. I lived in the SF Bay Area for about twenty years, as a piano tuner and street singer; then married, changed my name from John Erich Schaaf to Moss Maxfield Valentine, became a chiropractor, and moved to Moscow, Idaho in '92. Divorced in '97. We have two pretty amazing kids, Sierra, 18, and Sterling, 22, who also still live in Moscow. It's been quite a ride, this life. Get in touch, if you like.
My home is in La Crescenta where I live peacefully with a huge black galoot of a dog named Hagrid, two birds and two cats. I keep busy as editor of the Kids’ Reading Room page in the Calendar section of the Los Angeles Times and a part-time teacher for La Cañada Unified School District. I would love to hear from classmates.

My husband Graham and I moved here three years ago with our two children, Christina and Alistair, from London, England. Graham, who was born and raised in Scotland, is enjoying living in America for the first time, just as I enjoyed living in the U.K. for 10 years. Since Christina's arrival 8 years ago I have balanced (tried to balance!) motherhood with a bit of work in press relations, primarily for a great educational computing firm called Question Mark (http://www.questionmark.com). We are all enjoying Maine's fresh air, lakes, seaside and hills!
It was fun to run across your web page. Chris and Cathy Shedlock) Stern have been living in Winthrop Wa. for 21 years. I just retired as an Elementary School Principal after being in Education for 24 years. Retirement is GREAT! Chris owns his own business and builds Rocky Mountain Log Homes. Adam graduates from High School this year and hopes to go to Colorado College or Uof Colorado Boulder. Jonathan is a sophormore and will be an exchange student next year in Germany.

After spending the last 32 years with the SMPD I retired 01/03. Not yet ready to look for another job! I seem to find myself busier than ever.We have a son, Michael, presently a third generation Samo freshman.
Since leaving Samohi I have raised 3 wonderful children. I worked as a Technology Consultant at a small rural school in Tehama county for over 20 years and I am now retired and enjoying every minute of it. Jim and I love to spend our time on our sailboat on San Francisco Bay. I have 7 grandchildren and loving every minute of being a grandma. I would love to hear from any of my classmates who remember me. If you tried to contact me via the previous email address on this site, it hasn't been valid since 1997. I have now updated the email address and I do check it at least 3 times per week. I hope to hear from some of you.

After living in a tent and a school bus and appearing on the Newlywed Game in 1971, I have now been with the FBI for nearly 20 years. I have helped in the investigations of the 9-11 hijackers, President Clinton, Imelda Marcos, and numerous political figures. I am now living in Mesa, Arizona as well as Flathead Lake, Montana. My how times have changed; I recently visited my childhood home in Santa Monica and learned that the house next door is now inhabited by Bob Dylan. Has it really been almost 40 years since high school?

Enjoying life in Agoura Hills with David Krigstein and our kids, Kenny, 16 and Kelsey 13.
I'm always amazed when I run into '69 classmates which proves that this world is smaller than we think! One day at work someone called out my name as they passed by my desk at work.
"Are you the same Richard Stones from Samohi?" the voice said.
It turned out that the voice was Nikki (Pemberton) Jetland who was working as a sales rep out of the same office. She goes by Nicola Jetland now...she threatened to kill me if I used the name Nikki in public.
Other encounters with our classmates include...
* Meeting up with Gayle Goble at a filling station in Cardiff, CA. near San Diego. It's a shame she has since passed away from cancer.
* Seeing Mitch Gooze in the San Jose, CA. airport earlier this year. Mitch is involved with marketing consulting and lives in the Bay Area.
* Finding out that Kay (Crandall) Yerkovich goes to my church. She is married to her, Mylan, and has four children. She lives in Mission Viejo, CA.
Besides Kay, the only classmate I have stayed in touch with is Allan MacDonald who directed me to this web page.
I live in Mission Viejo, have been married for 22 years, have 2 kids (Brian - 18 who just graduated from High School and will be attending Indiana University in the fall & Karen - 17 who just finished her junior year in high school), and I work for Hewlett-Packard.

Here's what I've been up to since 1969: Married for 17 years, divorced and single for 16 more, now I'm married to the Love of My Life and true soul-mate, John Franco. We were married on Makena Beach in Maui at sunset in March 2003, and have been having the time of our lives ever since!
We've been traveling quite a bit (Alaska, Hawaii, Bahamas, Canada, and all over the U.S.) and keep busy with our 1929 Model A streetrod and 1940 Mercury convertible by attending several car shows every season (mostly in Orange County). I also now have a stepson & his wife in Scottsdale with two sons, and a stepdaughter with one son in Santa Ynez.
After working at General Telephone, Xerox Data Services, UCLA Extension, Santa Monica Ford, and American Shower Door during my first 10 years after graduation, I finally landed at EFHutton where I worked for 11 years before it got bought out by Shearson Lehman Brothers.
I then moved to Orange County and am now going on 19 years with the Disneyland Resort, where I first worked for EuroDisney (now Disneyland Paris) and Disneyland Marketing. Now I'm in my 8th year in the Horticulture Department as Executive Secretary to the Director of that area, and I intend to stay in this position until I retire. John is already retired and happily takes care of the house while I'm at work so we have the weekends and evenings to "play".
We attend a lot of theatre, plays, concerts, and of course, the car shows! I enjoyed attending our 30th reunion in 1999; it was great to see so many old friends. Drop me an e-line if you like! ~ Jamie

First moved to Fremont, CA after graduation and attended San Jose State. I've been working as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose since 1982. Was a member of a hawaiian dance group in the 70's. Have my 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and was an instructor for several years. I'm now trying to master the art of playing golf. Thought it would relieve some stress in my life...wrong.
I have been working in the accounting department at the Disney Studio in Burbank for many years -- I am currently VP of Participations & Royalties, Walt Disney Pictures and Television (but includes participations & royalties for the music groups, ABC, consumer products, and other Disney affiliated companies). I have been married to John for over 26 years. We go to Santa Monica often; I still love the beach.

Hi all, At present I am working at home as medical transcriptionist, I have worked at this career for about 20 years but working at home is new, and WONDERFUL. If you remember, I married directly out of high school, a Viet Vet... anyway, that union only lasted 8 years, but produced a great son, now 25, who is graduating university this year. About ten years after my first marriage failed, I met a wonderful man, another musician and after 10 years together we finally decided in 98 to make it formal. With this, I inherited a great stepdaughter (13) in 8th grade. My husband teaches Band and Strings at one of our local high schools so we are very involved in young people and music. We have made it to the last three reunions (the 30th was the best) and are looking forward to the 35th. Hope to see lots and lots of people there, I missed some of the regulars who always are there, so hope they can come this time.
