I am currently living in Newport Coast and stay in touch with Tony Nolind and Dale Williams.
Married to Cammie and have a 16 year old that plans to become a marine biologist like both of his parents. I retired in 1996, but I still do consulting work in kelp bed restoration, marine pollution and fisheries matters. Life is good.
Feeling good for my current circumstances! Kept with my nose to the grindstone with 'honey-doos'. A bit of travelling now and then; some volunteer work and plenty of riding my bike around town. We looked around for where we wanted to retire and realized after some head scratching and visiting that we love the So. Cal scene and we are right were we want to be.

Jean H0USTON, Class of '56
I am now among the ranks of the retired. It feels weird but I think I can get used to this real fast. The many more discretionary hours require some management but I'll probably have a good routine down after I go through all the seasons this first year.

Sorry I missed the class reunion as I was out of the country. I would love to hear from old friends from my class.
Still working at my Goin'To The Dogs Grooming and Training. I know we are supposed to be thinking of retiring, but I am so busy showing dogs in agility and obedience and playing with our Mini Horses, I can't figure out a way to support my hobbies without working at a job I love too. Since my last post, I now have a great grandaughter.

Would love to hear from you!
Married (several times--please don't ask about my infamous bad judgement of
character in men). I got lucky the last time. We have 6 children (my 4, his
1 and ours), and 12 grandchildren. We raise quarter horses and Great Danes.
The horses are a joint operation with our oldest son and youngest daughter.
I've retired from my job in the accounting office of BSU. Retirement is a joke
here because I sub. teach for our local school district and then drive the 60
miles to a prison in Ontario, Or. to teach an evening GED class. I also am and
EMT-I with our local fire dept. and work as medical standby for the university
athletic dept. for football, and for the performing arts center. If that isn't
enough to keep me busy, I have grandchildren envolved in music, ice-hockey,
soccer, basketball, softball and rodeo, and a daughter who trains barrel futurity
horses.
In my spare time I run away and show a dog somewhere in the Pacific Northwest.
This is really a tribute to Mr. R. Crawford, without whom I probably never would have graduated from Samohi. After raising 5 children to adulthood I returned to college, and got my teaching degree in Secondary Biology at Boise State U. I am currently subbing for my local school district regularly and working half-time for Treasure Valley Community College in Ontario, OR. as a GED instructor at the Snake River Correctional Inst. Even with a late beginning I find I love the work.
