I'm having a great time at Occidental College, studying (for now) Spanish, Latin-American music, and literature (American and LA.) SAMO Chamber Singers and Wind Ensemble led me to the Oxy Glee Club and Oxy-CalTech Concert Band. I'm still obsessed with Rock en Español and dance (ballet, Folklórico and Flamenco.) Writing during my internship at Nacional Records got me thinking of myself as a journalist and now I'm a staff writer for the Oxy Weekly. It's fun. I have a great roommate and friends at Oxy but keep in touch with SAMO friends. I miss Señor Lopez, Mr. Huls and Terry Sakow. (He said I can call him "Terry" after playing with him in the Santa Monica College band. (He's amazing on trumpet.) Oh. I changed my last name from Kreuter to Solomon. There's a reason. For one thing it looks better in print which will be important when I'm famous.
