After graduation I spent 4 1/2 years in the Marine Corps. I got to see Okinawa, Thailand and Hong Kong (pre return to China). When I got out, I started a law enforcement career in Norfolk, Virginia. I am married with 2 kids. All are the love of my life. In 2001 I moved back to California and continued in law enforcement. I now am working in patrol in Oxnard. In addition to patrol, I am a Field Training Officer, Rangemaster (well I was a Marine), and H&K Armorer. Life is good and I hope everyone I was close with is doing well. Bret? Alex? Mickey? Thad? I am also currently the Executive Director of the Big Bear Foundation and the Strome Family Foundation. We provide services to inner-city and under privileged youth. I went to school for Design in S.F. and still have no degree but I am damn handy with a computer. Been djing for like 10 years now and make beats and work with various m.c.s and on various electronic music oriented projects. I am living in Oakland, CA. I work for Coca-Cola as a Web Designer and Analyst. I never went to the 10 year but I may pop into the 20 year. I've since moved back to Santa Monica and married a wonderful woman named Vejune (vee-YOO-nuh). Turns out we grew up a block away from each other but never formally met until 2001. Lovely. Since I graduated Samohi in 92', I continued with college.  I went to Pepperdine University in Malibu. I graduated from Pepperdine in 96' with a BS in Nutritional Science and a BA in Spanish Studies.  For two years I was working as a Nutritional consultant for a private home in Malibu. These last three years I have been working for a Nutritional Supplement company in San Clemente, Metagenics, as a Research and Regulatory Analyst. I am going to try this next year to start a credential so that I can teach Spanish.

Moved to MI in 1993. Now happily married with a beautiful son named Collin, who was born September 30, 2000. Hope old friends are doing well.

I moved from LA to Newport Beach four years ago. I graduated from CSULB with a masters degree in Social Work. I am currently employed by a non-profit agency as a mental health therapist and currently studying for the state licensing exam to have my private practice.

After high school, I graduated from Loyola Marymount University, with a communications degree in film. I spent several years working as a post-production producer for an editorial company in Santa Monica, when my long time on again/off again love, Al, finally asked me marry him. He proposed in Spain! We settled in Northern California, got married in 2003, and just recently moved to Houston. My new job is being a Mom to our beautiful girls - Daytona (Toni) 2.5 years, and Danielle (Dani), 1.5 years. I still occasionally freelance back in CA, and visit as often as possible. Hello all. My wife Kristin and I are living in San Diego. No kids, just two dogs, and that seems to be enough! After graduating from UCSD I started working as an environmental consultant and am still at it.

It seems like everyone is doing so great! My life revolves around my daughter Kiana, now almost 3. I'm still teaching at Woodlake and taking courses to become a Principal... hopefully I'll be done in 18 months. Happily married to Maybelline, CO 92. Just sold our first home and bought our second house...can't believe it. Can't believe I'll be 30 in just a few months. Love to hear from forgotten faces.

Moved to Seattle. Great to be back on the west coast! Had another kid. Trying to get settled. Still doing eye surgery for a living. I think I will try to go to 20th reunion. It was pretty amazing reading all of the posts just now for the first time (2009!).... nice to see names that I hadn't forgotten, but hadn't thought about in a long time.

Qualified as a doctor in 1998 and decided to stay in England. Met Mike at med school and we got married in 2000. Now have 2 amazing kids, Annie age 3 and Charlie age 1. Enjoying motherhood and life very much. Hope everyone is well.

Working in property development in my native Scotland in the city of Glasgow. Finished serving in the US Navy in Oct 94. Have a girlfirend of 2 years (Claire) but she is far too young and beautiful for me. Still, I don't complain. Travel quite a bit in Europe. I graduated from UCSB with a BA in History in 1996. I went to Cal State Northridge for an MA and Teaching Credential in Special Education. I live in a condo in Northridge with my three cats. I am a Special Education Resource Teacher at Monroe High School in North Hills. I volunteer at an animal shelter and I collect shot glasses.

Got married in October and living in West Los Angeles. I am working on a dissertation to finish a D.M.A in conducting. Currently teaching at SMC, CSUN, and CSULA (hoping for a tenured position somewhere in Southern California so that I don't have to move!) Love it here, and hoping to stay here for a long time.

After working for years in the biotech industry, I decided I couldn't hack it anymore. I'm now back in school for a Masters in Teaching and Teaching Credential program in Eugene, Oregon so I can teach science in high school. I married Asher Tubman, a physics teacher, in August 2007. In July, we had our first child, a beautiful boy named Ze'ev. We are very active in our synagogue here in Eugene. We have two dogs and four cats, love all the outdoor recreation that Eugene offers. Besides being a little sleep-deprived right now, we are enjoying the fall and excited about some snow-shoeing soon. I'd love to hear from anyone...in fact I was just writing an essay for school that included a story about Oliver Baker...anyone know where he is these days? Come up to Eugene if you get sick of the sunny, warm weather in LA!

Hello all. It seems like I was just at Samo yesterday, oh yeah, I was still playing polo on Tuesday nights with some of the old guys. Married to a great woman and have two beautiful kids, Jack (boy) 2 1/2 and Jordan (girl) 9 Months. Have been in Commercial Real Estate Investments for 7 years now. Living in Marina Del Rey and still loving the beach and the ocean.

You all remember me as a graff punk and art class dork. now i am a very successful fine artist. I make steel sculptures of, for example, a wedding cake with an ak47 stuck in the top of it. I use r.r. spikes to attach large flat pieces of thick steel plate to the street that are in the shape of stealth bombers. i sell my work all the time for lots of money, all i do is make art! to all my old art teachers, thanks for all the encouragement. I remember a lot of my friends who were gangsters at samo, i really hope they are all ok, probably have huge families by now in Venice.

It's great reading about what old classmates are doing in their lives. I currently live in the outer skirt of Los Angeles. I don't miss LA traffic, but I do miss the west side from time to time. i left some time ago with nothing and recently in '04 returned with much knowledge and the right to brag about my travels through this country, canada, and mexico to find out cali is not the place for me. i joined the crazy californians that invested in arizona and been here since with a date to marry in the new year (june '06) happily working as a muddawg (heavy equip. operator) creating new cities and homes for those who come here like myself.

We are keeping quite busy with 4 kids 4 and under. Brooke Eva was born on February 25th and we are in love with her! The triplets are in preschool 5 days a week for about 2-1/2 hours, so that has been REALLY nice. We are still in Mesa, AZ and are in the process of selling our house and trying to get a bigger one...for our HUGE family! I hope you are all doing well.

Okay, slight update to my world. Left VC two years ago, started a chip startup and am now at Cisco Systems, still in the Bay Area, in the Corporate Business Development group. Still hanging out in technology land and still missing life in Santa Monica. Hope everyone is happy and well.

I find myself travelling an intuitive path toward what I would be most happy doing. After graduating from UC Santa Cruz in Sociology I started to take my interest in music seriously and began to work with a fellow Viking on some rap production. See Dilated Peoples and Aceyalone. Later I built a small recording studio and then moved on to managing a large scale studio in Topanga. Most recently I moved to NY and found that I was ready to take on an old plan that had been brewing in my mind for some time. I am a music instructor at a social services organization in the Bronx. I get to make music with kids for a living. My ambition is to set up an non-profit organization dedicated to after-school arts enrichment.

Four years since my last update. All of you who remember my daughter Catherine from the campus SAPID program will be shocked to realize she will be a senior in high school next year. This means you are all officially getting old. She attends an all girl private school (which she actually loves despite all the sordid jokes I'm sure you are all thinking of). It's SAT prep and driving lesson time in our house. Yikes! Oh yeah, and we are going through boyfriend issues. Catherine is in love with a marine. He is currently in training in Virginia but hopes to be stationed at Pendelton so they can be near each other while she's in college. Were we that sappy with the puppy love at her age? It's completely nauseating sometimes when they are on the phone. We enjoy bugging the two of them as much as humanly possible.
Our son is doing just fantastic. He attends a private school for children on the Autism Spectrum and it makes such a difference. What an education these last four years have been for us all through our work with him and interaction with other special needs children. He's amazing and we love him to pieces. He's wicked brilliant but not so fond of big groups. He has a huge heart and his favorite thing to do is read to pre-school kids. (I think he just likes to be in charge.) Erik and I are working hard and having fun. We've started a tradition of taking the kids around to major U.S. cities each year and building lasting memories before our little girl goes off to college. Last trip was to the rainforests of the olympic peninsula in Washington. It was so beautiful that Catherine has even talked about living up there in the future. Brent just liked the constant hail and rain. Such a change from LA. Then we hit the space needle for new years eve.
My work is the same, steady and rewarding. I've visited the SAMO campus recently taking Catherine to her SAT prep practice exams. So much has changed. I stay in touch with most of my girlfriends regularly and run into some of you other alumni now and then. Now that Brent is 9 and has made so much progress, Erik and I are considering a third child. We're on the fence between enjoying our increased free time together and enjoying our children and the joy of a new baby. Life is a happy thing. All our best to each of you.

Still living in New York City where I ditched the office jobs and have just passed a major stepping stone in my apprenticeship as a hairstylist at a high-end salon in Soho. I love being creative and working with people. I'm still acting, too, and I am the star of an indie flick called "Trapped by the Mormons," a feature-length, silent, b&w remake.

Hey guys! Just finished business school at Wharton. Working in investment banking in New York. Gonna try that for a few years and then most likely head out to Shanghai.

To all those who know me I have grown a lot since that shy girl in high school. I now teach chemistry and physics in Mammoth Lakes at the high school. I am also an adjunct professor with the Cerro Coso Community College. I never would have envisioned myself voluntarily speaking in front of a group of people, but I have to say that it is extremely rewarding and I love it! I am currently married to my husband of almost 5 years (8/8/98) and we know have a son who will be 2 in September.

I am currently an attorney practicing Real Estate, Business and Corporate law in Los Angeles. I was very much looking forward to reuniting with old friends, but it turns out I will be in Chicago the weekend of the reunion. I hope all of you have a great time!
