I'm a widow, sold my 79-acre forest to my daughter and son-in-law, so we could enlarge the house and all live together. I have 3 kids, 2 boys and a girl, all married to wonderful people. I have 10 grandchildren, three are married to amazing people. I have 5 great-grandchildren and another any minute. I enjoy my grandkids, the "greats" and my 3 cats. I also play with the computer, and watch TV. I take naps. I have a tractor and a riding lawn mower. I transport the elderly and infirm. What more could I ask for!!!I have a wonderful life. Praise the Lord. |

Celebrated with bride, Monica, at a surprise 50th anniversary party given by daughters Triana NARVESON Burchianti '84 and Tracy NARVESON Bantel '86. Also in attendance were more SAMOHI grads: Ginger & Bill BERTIE '45, Gay & Allen SCHNEIDERMAN '45, Diane & Lev JACKSON '45, MaryLou NARVESON Burbery '47, Bonnie Holscher '49 along with many other friends and family. Ginger helped Bill & Dick revive their high school band on keyboards and drums respectively at Triana's house. Everyone else danced up a storm and ate a lot of Mexican food. Monica & Dick also enjoyed a Mexican cruise with the Burchiantis for both our anniversaries. |

I graduated in the class of winter though my graduation should have been in Summer of 1946. I have old friends in both classes. The last reunion I attended was the Fiftieth of the 1946 class. In October of 2003, my husband Gene Berkus passed away and I am learning how to live alone for the first time in my life. I would love to hear from any of my old classmates and friends. |
